Home Learning

During these unprecedented times, it is more important than ever that we stay connected with our pupils. We must be prepared for the possibility of groups of children having to self isolate or school bubbles being temporarily asked to stay at home. With this in mind, we have renewed our learning platforms, Class Dojo for FS and KS1 pupils and Seesaw to support our KS2 pupils to learn from home.

For more information and technical support for Seesaw click here, or for Dojo parent support click here.

In order to access ClassDojo or Seesaw, you will need log on information for your child, which is available via contacting the school office or class teacher.

Class Dojo App

Once logged in, you will receive a welcome message. Class Dojo enables you to upload photos and videos via your child’s avatar, keep updated with messages from your child’s class teacher via the class stories and have the ability to directly message your class teacher for those more sensitive questions.

Seesaw App

Once logged in, children should see a message from the Class Teacher! To contact them, children can click on ‘journal’ and then on the green ‘add’ button. The easiest way to keep in touch is by writing a note or sending a photo!

The Class Teacher will also set tasks in the ‘activities’ section. Children can respond directly to these with a note or photo (or try the drawing and video tools if feeling adventurous!).

We will be also using Seesaw to set weekly homework tasks even if all children are able to remain in school.

We look forward to hearing from you and once you are logged on, your teacher should be able to help with any further queries you may have!

Please note that Class Dojo and Seesaw is GDPR compliant and by parents accessing login details and accessing the platform permission is assumed.
