    Poetry and Pizza

    7th November 2014

It was great to share our new talents for learning poetry through 'Talk for Writing' on our poetry and pizza afternoon. I was impressed by 'The Charge of the Light Brigade' in Year 5 and '1066' in Year 4 but I also liked the drama of the year 2 'Rats'. The poems written and recited together by the children of FS, Year 1 and Year 3 were amazing. The poems the Year 6 children had written contained some impressive vocabulary. The money raised from the sale of pizzas will be used for prizes for Christmas party

    Hatfield Garden Party

    14th July 2014

The small choir of children who sang on Hatfield Garden Party were very well received by those who attended. They were confident and charming in their rendition of 'Somewhere only we know'. Special mention must also go to Natalie who also danced a lively little number to Chantilly Lace.

We are very proud that the children were willing to give up their Saturday afternoon to represent the school.
