Easter Egg Decoration Competition.
29th March 2018 - Green Lane Primary AcademyThe annual GLPA Early Years Easter bonnet parade was held this morning - it was fantastic, thank you to all the families that supported this both in making the bonnets and coming into school for the parade.
The Easter egg decoration compettion was great - lots of Harry Potter inspired ideas. please have a look at the photos. Well done to all those that took part.

Year 11 Reward Trip
29th March 2018 - Manor Croft AcademyMr Hewitt and the Year 11 team went on their reward trip just before Easter. Over 110 students visited Xscape in Castleford to have a fun day out and relax just before their final push to the exams. They enjoyed activities such as: ten pin bowling, laser zone, gravity and 4D golf, all rounded off with a nice lunch! The students were fantastic on the day, now for the final push to their GCSE's!

Goodbye
29th March 2018 - Kingston Park AcademyAt the end of this term it is with great sadness that we will be saying goodbye and good luck to colleagues who are leaving.

Inter-House Cross Country
28th March 2018 - Green Lane Primary AcademyMonday this week saw the KS2 inter-house cross country take place. It was the perfect afternoon with mild and sunny conditions. Cheered on by parents and grandparents the children represented their houses with pride and put in a super effort. This team event gave children the chance to choose from a choice of three courses as to which one they'd like to do. One lap of the red course earned their house 2 points, a lap of the blue course was 4 points and the largest course was the green one - a lap of this ea

Easter Egg Hunt
28th March 2018 - Green Lane Primary AcademyGreen Lane had a dress down day today in exchange for a donation of an Easter egg for the FOGL Easter egg hunt after school today. The weather was damp but children and parents took to the school ground to find clues to win a prize. Many thanks to FOGL and staff that stayed to support the event. Dinner Day 2018
23rd March 2018 - Hull Trinity House AcademyOn Wednesday 21st March we had our Annual Dinner Day. Dinner Day is a celebration of our Founders Day. Hull Trinity House School was founded in 1787, when it was then known as 'Hull Trinity House Marine School' and it was officially opened on 2nd February 1787.
The anniversary of this event is now celebrated as Founders Day but over the years this annual tradition has become known as Dinner Day. This is due to the tradition of the oldest students in the school, leaving and literally walking out onto the dock

Year 3 - 4 York Chocolate Factory Visit (Fri)
23rd March 2018 - Macaulay Primary AcademyOn Friday 23rd March, our second outing to York Chocolate Factory for Year 3 & 4 went ahead. During our visit, we were learning all about the history of chocolate making, we had the chance to make our own chocolate lollies and we even got to sample some of the delicious chocolate from the master chocolatiers!
