  • A-level - excellent results

    17th August 2018 - The Vale Academy

    The Vale Academy celebrated excellent results in its sixth form. 

    Principal Nicola Williams was ‘delighted’ with the overall pass rate of 100%, with 42% of grades achieved at A Level at the top grades of A*-B.  

    The results reflect the hard work and commitment shown by students and staff.  

    There were many individual successes, although of note is Harvey Stevenson who achieved four A* grades and has secured a place to study Medicine at Imperial College, London.

  • Fantastic Post-16 results

    16th August 2018 - Ash Hill Academy

    Ash Hill Academy Sixth Form students received an excellent set of results at the end of their Post-16 courses. A large number of qualifications have undergone a period of reform over the last few years, with many courses now seen as much more demanding than in previous years.  However, all Ash Hill students gained the necessary grades to enable them to progress them to the next stage of their career, including higher education, apprenticeship or employment.

    16th August 2018 - De Warenne Academy

    Staff and students at De Warenne Academy were delighted to see their hard work rewarded on the recent Post 16 results day. The new qualifications meant that this year students have faced significantly different challenges to those from previous years and they have risen to the challenge, securing some very positive outcomes.     10th August 2018 - Melior Community Academy

    Results for Year 10 and Year 11 students will be available to collect from the Academy between 9am and midday on Thursday, 23rd August 2018.

    If students are unable to collect their results and would like to arrange for a nominated person to collect their results on their behalf, please complete the Results Collection Form below.

     Ingleby Manor School will be increasing the cost of school lunches with effect from 10th September 2018.

    The start of term arrangements for the new academic year are as follows:   

    Monday 3rd September - Teacher Training Day      

    Tuesday 4th September - Academy open for students in Years 7 & 11.  Some Sixth Form students will be in school to complete mentor training - please contact Mrs Wilkinson for further details.     

    Wednesday 5th September - Academy open for all students.

  • Prize Day 2018

    1st August 2018 - Hull Trinity House Academy

    On Friday 29th June 2018 at Hull City Hall, we held our annual Prize Day. On the day 65 prizes were given out, these are donated by various organisations. The prizes are split into three parts, academic awards, service and quality awards, nautical awards, general competence awards and this we had two students receiving 100% attendance awards for their five years at the school.

    25th July 2018 - Green Lane Primary Academy

    The School Games mark is a government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community.  Schools in England are able to assess themselves across bronze, silver and gold levels. The award is nationally recognised as the kite mark for school sport.

  • The Book Bus arrives at Whetley Academy

    The children at Whetley Academy were delighted to see a Big Red Bus in the playground when they arrived for school yesterday...It was The Book Bus from the Book People.  The children and their families were allowed to climb aboard the bus and choose from a selection of beautiful books, which I am sure they will enjoy reading over the holidays.

    Pupils and staff are again celebrating outstanding achievement and strong progress at a Grimsby primary academy.  


    Wybers Wood Primary Academy saw numbers meeting the expected standard in reading, writing and maths rise by 8% over the past 12 months to 78%, significantly above the national average.
