  • Leeds Book Awards - update.

    1st February 2018 - Green Lane Primary Academy

    The Leeds Book Awards is an annual event run jointly between Leeds School Library Service and Leeds Public Libraries.Six of the best children’s books published in the last year are chosen for three separate age-groups. Children are then encouraged to read them and vote for their favourite title. In May there is an award ceremony where some of the children are able to attend and see first-hand their favourite author!   • Year 7 Motte and Bailey Castle Competition

    31st January 2018 - Hull Trinity House Academy

    Many year & students took part in producing a historically accurate Motte and Bailey castle. Criteria for the competion was that the castle must include:

    Motte              Palisade             
    Bailey Drawbridge
    MoatKeep

    The History department were overwhelmed by the number of entries. The quality and attention to detail that the models demonstrated was outstanding. We even had one entry that was made from baked goods!

  • Top of the League!

    29th January 2018 - Rossington All Saints Academy

    The DfE league tables have been released and place Rossington All Saints Academy 1st out of 55 similar schools nationally for the second time.  

    Following the recent Ofsted judgement of good; students and staff are pleased with the recent announcement from the Department for Education indicating the latest performance league table where Rossington All Saints Academy is ranked 1st when compared to 55 similar schools nationally and is the top performing school in Doncaster for the second year running.

  • Wear Red Day- Friday 2nd February

    29th January 2018 - Hatfield Woodhouse Primary School

    We would like to ask all pupils to take part and wear red on Friday 2nd February in support of one of our own pupils Riley. Riley has a rare heart condition and will need further operations during the next year. Can all pupils please bring in a donation on the day, however small, for the Childrens Heart Surgery Fund.

    The NSPCC will be in school to work with our Y5 & Y6 pupils through workshops on Friday 9th February. There will also be a parents workshop taking place at 9.00am for any parents who would like to take part.

    Gazing Into the Deep Blue Skys

    26th January 2018 - Serlby Park Academy

    Please be aware there has been an incident reported on Wednesday 24th January 2018 of an unknown male allegedly chasing some teenagers/students whilst under the influence of drink at around 8pm at Snipe Park area of Bircotes.  Nottinghamshire Police are aware of the incident where they have confirmed nobody has been hurt or injured.  They are advising anybody with any further information to contact the Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 000792-24012018.

  • Young Voices Choir

    26th January 2018 - Willow Green Academy

    Our Young Voices choir had a fantastic time at the concert in Sheffield on the 17th January, the children sang beautifully. Thank you to all the parents who came along to support us, we hope you enjoyed the perfomance as much as we did.
