Before half term a group of Y5 children attended a debate which took place at Park View Primary Academy. Seven schools took part and the children competed in four mixed groups. They debated on various topics such as ' Children should choose their own bedtime' , 'Zoos should be banned' and 'Children should not do chores at home'. All the children enjoyed collaborating with each other and debated very well. Lots of new friends were made and they all seemed to enjoy the experience.
