Anti-Bullying Week
7th October 2016 - The Parks AcademyNext week is Anti-Bullying week.
This year we have decided to bring forward Anti-Bullying week at the academy so that we can have a specific e-safety week during November.
There will be so many things happening at the academy.
Parents and Carers are invited to assemblies on Monday and Friday, and there will be an anti-bullying parents' workshop on Thursday. Please let us know if you are coming to the workshop so that we can prepare the right space and resources.

Year 5 Fund Raising
7th October 2016 - Craven Primary AcademyToday, several of our Year 5 students went to St Stephen's to raise funds for their upcoming trip to London. They did an incredible job, raising... Towards their trip! Well done Year 5!

School Disco 19th October
7th October 2016 - The Parks AcademyFS2/KS1- 3:15-4:15 Tickets cost £1.50 and include a treat bag. F2/KS1 can bring costumes to school and get changed at school so there will be no need to collect your child until the end of the disco.
KS2 4:30-5:45 Tickets cost £1 and a snack stall will be there for children to buy sweets and treats.

Little Grangers
7th October 2016 - Grange Lane Infant AcademyOur newest and youngest provision, Little Grangers. have settled in wonderfully in the new 2 year old provision building.
If you are interested in viewing the nursery or obtaining a place for your child, please feel free to contact the academy. You can view the Little Grangers booklet and obtain further information about the 2 year old funding through the 2yr provision tab at the top of this screen.

Guide Dog Fundraising Walk
7th October 2016 - Wybers Wood AcademyWe had a fabulous day raising money for this year's fundraising project, Guide Dogs for the Blind. Pupils, parent's & carers turned out in force to complete sponsored walks around the school premises. Mr Wrigley was safely guided around while wearing a blindfold and it was lovely to have Graham Fordham and his dog, storm, join us again. A big thank you to the teachers who just loved getting wet for such a good cause!

7th October 2016 - Wybers Wood AcademyOur Y5/6 football team played against Healing. We didn't win but it was a good match enjoyed by everyone and how fab does the team look in their new kit!

District champions
6th October 2016 - The Vale AcademyExcellent performances saw The Vale Academy’s under 16s’ netball team become district champions.
The nine students travelled with Miss Nicola Hewitt, PE teacher, to St Bede’s School in Scunthorpe to the North Lincolnshire Schools’ under 16 netball tournament.
Miss Hewitt said: “The team put in several excellent performances in difficult and windy conditions.

The Ash Hill Academy Year 9/10 team travelled to Campsmount Technology College this Wednesday afternoon, putting on a dazzling display to run out 7-0 winners. Three goals from the prolific Robbie Rhodes, joined one each from Keith Hinds, Kai Hewson and Jack Smith. However, the best moment of the game came within the final 10 minutes, when Ethan Eddleston, just on as a substitute, scored his first ever goal for the academy with a cultured left foot finish into the top corner of the

5th October 2016 - Craven Primary AcademyA huge thank you to all of you who managed to attend our Coffee Morning last week. We had a wonderful afternoon!
To those of you who made or bought cakes , they were incredible! Thank you so much for all your help and support towards such a worthy cause!
We held a special assembly on Wednesday morning to celebrate the achievements of the charity and the wonderful work they do.

Ash Hill Academy put up a tremendous second half performance, to fight back from 3-1 down at half time to claim a win in their first fixture of the season.
The game started badly, with Campsmount going two goals up in the first few minutes. Harvest Festival
3rd October 2016 - Worlaby AcademyOn Monday 3rd October the whole school took part in a Harvest Festival celebration at the church.
Class 1 retold the story of The Little Red Hen using actions from Talk for Writing. To do this in front of a congregation after only being at school for a few weeks was really brave. We were very proud of them. Class 2 sang us a Harvest song they had been learning and talked about what they had learnt about Harvest. Class 3 told us about the globalism of food and Class 4 talked about the uneven food distribution
