Y6 working with our secondary partners
16th October 2016 - The Parks AcademyOn Friday, a group of Y6 pupils from The Parks visited Sirius North, along with pupils from other local primary schools. They spend the day working on very challegning English and Maths objectives, designed to stretch the most able.
Pupils had a great day. We look forward to forging very strong links across the curriculum with our partners from Sirius North.

Anti-bullying week update
14th October 2016 - The Parks AcademyWhat a fantastic week it's been so far! Pupils have been working hard at school and at home, learning much about this important subject. Yesterday we had a fantastic turnout for the workshop and today we look forward to having our BLUE DAY! THEATRE PERFORMANCE FOR Y11
14th October 2016 - Ash Hill AcademyManActCo inspire laughter and tears!
As part of our drive to help students better understand some of the harder aspects of the English Literature syllabus, we have employed a visiting theatre group to perform set GCSE texts on three separate occasions at Ash Hill Academy. ManActCo performed no less than 24 poems and excerpts from 3 separate Shakespeare plays within an hour, to start this process rolling on the morning of the 14th October. They also lead a question and answer session for 30 minutes afterwar
