• DONCASTER TEENAGE MARKET

  28th April 2017 - Ash Hill Academy

  Doncaster’s first ever ‘Teenage Market’ will be taking place on Saturday 13^th May 2017 in the Market Place, Doncaster. Running from 10.00am to 4.00pm it is designed for young people aged 13 to 25, to get involved and showcase their talents and entrepreneurial skills.

  Young people are encouraged to participate in creating a great event for Doncaster, with a vibrant and exciting festival atmosphere! The Teenage Market is FREE to take part in so participants don’t have to be established traders or performers.

• TRAINING DAY AND BANK HOLIDAY

  The academy will be closed to students on Friday 28^th April 2017 for a staff training day and Monday 1^st May 2017 for the May Day Bank Holiday. The academy will reopen to students at 8.00am on Tuesday 2^nd May 2017.

• AMAZING APRIL COMPETITION

  26th April 2017 - Ash Hill Academy

  This month is ‘Amazing April’, our latest attendance competition! For 100% attendance, students can earn themselves a seat at one of four movie nights – to be held on 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th May 2017. The films have yet to be decided, and students are being asked to pass their suggestions to Form Tutors, who will in turn pass them on to Learning Managers. Students who achieve 100% will be able to decide which film they would like to stay and watch.

  Sweets and drinks will also be on sale during the movie night

• Macmillan Coffee & Cake Morning

  We would just like to say a massive thank you to parents, staff and pupils for their kind cake contributions and their very generous donations towards a very worthy charity. In total we raised £100 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

  26th April 2017 - Manor Croft Academy

  May will see the return of our Attendance Awareness Month. At Manor Croft Academy, we are striving for all our students to achieve their potential and this all starts with attending school every day.  Form groups will compete against each other to achieve the highest attendance in their year group for the week, with the winning form being awarded a form breakfast.  Please could we ask parents/carers to continue to support the academy with this initiative.  Thank you from the Attendance Team.
