    16th September 2017 - Green Lane Primary Academy

    The Year 6 team had a fabulous time at Kingswood, Dearne Valley last week.  Visiting so soon in the school year gave us all a chance to get to know each other and we were so proud of the way in which the children pushed themselves by: trying new activities; overcoming personal challenges and developing their teamwork skills.  Thanks to: Mrs Palin, Mrs Martin, Mrs Hector, Mrs Sterland, Mrs Coles and Mr Buckley who gave up their free time and looked after the children so well on their adventure.  What a great

  • OFSTED Report

    15th September 2017 - Rossington All Saints Academy

    Rossington All Saints Academy was inspected under the new OFSTED framework in July and we are delighted to announce that the academy continues to be judged as a good school.  

    OFSTED acknowledged the academy's ethos of high expectations for all students and this was also reflected in this year's GCSE results.

    The outcome is testament to the hard work and dedication of our talented staff, students and governors alongside  the support of parents.

     

  • Roald Dahl Day Y4

    15th September 2017 - Green Lane Primary Academy

    On the 13th September, Y4 celebrated Roald Dahl day. Hazel class invented some new ‘Delumptious’ chocolate bars, including the scrumptious Cake Bomb and the tantalising Sweet Tweet, whilst in Chestnut class, new characters were created, including the Vomit Comet and the Colossal Pea.

    We also explored some exciting maths, helping Willy Wonka decide how many wrappers he might need for his new chocolate bars.

  • KS2 Eden Camp Trip

    14th September 2017 - Willows Academy

    All of the KS2 children had a fabulous time at Eden Camp. They loved going in and out of the various huts learning all about WW1 and WW2. There were some fantastic reactions from the children as they experienced the sights, sounds and smells from the interactive displays. After lunch, the children were given the opportunity to play on the adventure playground. As you can imagine, there were quite a few children who transformed into WW2 soldiers, as they ran in and out of the various towers and tunnels! All

  • Big Education - Parent information session

    10th September 2017 - Highfields Primary Academy

  • Rewards Assembly Start for New Year 11

    Our new Year 11 had their first rewards assembly this week to celebrate their fantastic results from their first real GCSE in Year 10.  They have already achieved some great results which will give them confidence as they start Year 11.  We also celebrated some excellent science mock results where we had a number of students hitting the new grade 9!

    7th September 2017 - Ash Hill Academy

    During this academic year 2017-2018, students who show commitment and dedication by attending 100% will be rewarded - with a trip to Lightwater Valley theme park in June 2018. 

    To be in the running for this reward, students simply need to attend the academy each day throughout the academic year 2017-2018, ensuring that they arrive on time, fully equipped, and get registered.   • POST 16 TEAM BUILDING

    6th September 2017 - Ash Hill Academy

    During the afternoon of Wednesday 6th September 2017, Post 16 students at Ash Hill Academy took part in Team Building activities delivered by the British Army Engagement Team. The whole session was planned as part of the Post 16 Induction process and the academy’s Enrichment program, which each give our sixth formers access to new information regarding career progression.
