  • Y11 Enrichment Intervention

    15th December 2017 - Melior Community Academy

    Starting on the 3rd January 2018 all Y11 will be attending after school intervention enrichment until 3.30PM. Each student has been issued with a new timetable explaining where they need to be. These sessions take precedent over any detentions. We are aware that some sessions are already running. All students will be provided with tea before they leave at 3.30PM.

    There will also be 2 revision weekends for Science and English/maths - details to follow

  • Golden Apple Award

    15th December 2017 - Hull Trinity House Academy

    Teaching Assistant Michelle Adams was nominated by staff, current students and Old Boys for the Golden Apple Award with Hull Daily Mail for her services at the Academy.

    Michelle has the care of many students in different situations and circumstances and with different needs; from in-lesson support, to exam reading and scribing for students, to driving a powerboat or supporting students with additional needs so they can participate in sailing activities.

  • Year 3 Greek Workshop

    15th December 2017 - Kingston Park Academy

    Our Year 3 children had a fantastic day when they all dressed up and became characters from Ancient Greece. Wiktoria Malendowicz said “I really enjoyed singing and wearing my costume.” Sebastian Smith said “It was really exciting taking part in the mini Olympic Games, especially playing Greeks versus Trogans.” “I would definitely like to do it again” added Jack Weatherall.

     

  • Enterprise Fayre

    15th December 2017 - Kingston Park Academy

    Thank you to everyone who helped raise money for our Enterprise Fair. It was a great success and we raised £175.73. Thank you for your continued support.

     

  • Choir singing at the Methodist Church

    15th December 2017 - Kingston Park Academy

    The choir had a lovely time at the Methodist Church. Olivia Davies said “It was fantastic getting to sing in Church with my friends in the choir.”

     

  • Beauty and the Beast Pantomime

    15th December 2017 - Kingston Park Academy

    The children had a great time when they went to the Cast Theatre in Doncaster to see Beauty and the Beast. Kloee Atkins said “I really enjoyed watching the lady doing the sign language.”

     

  • Performances at James Hince Court

    15th December 2017 - Kingston Park Academy

    The children had the opportunity to sing for the residents at James Hince Court. “It was very emotional but I really enjoyed taking part” said Ellie Pashley.

     

  • Parents into Breakfast Club

    15th December 2017 - Grange Lane Infant Academy

    On Friday 15th we invited parents to join us for breakfast in our FREE magic breakfast club!

    We appreciate how busy everyone is and we thank everyone for stopping those extra few minutes for a quick bowl of cereal or a bagel with their child before starting another busy day.

    It was also opportunity for those who wanted a taster session, to find out how the club works and what delicious healthy choices for breakfast we have available and all for FREE!

     

  • Christmas Dinner

    14th December 2017 - Crookesbroom Primary Academy

    Today we had a delicious Christmas Dinner at Crookesbroom. Thank you to all the kitchen staff for cooking our meal and for getting us in the Christmas spirit.

  • Christmas Jumper Day - Friday 15th December

    14th December 2017 - Melior Community Academy

    "Christmas Jumper Day" is being held on the last day of term - Friday 15th December for all students and will be free of charge. Christmas t-shirts are also acceptable. Normal school uniform rules still apply and the christmas jumper or t-shirt is an addition to this. The academy will close at 2.30pm and re-open on Wednesday, 3rd January 2018 at the normal time.

  • Christmas Arrangements

    14th December 2017 - Rossington All Saints Academy

    We will be maintaining our normal curriculum arrangements up to Wednesday 20th December,  on Thursday 21st December students will attend church services at St Luke's church in Rossington during lessons 1 and 2.  They will then return to their usual lessons for the remainder of the day.

    Friday 22nd December is Christmas jumper day where students can wear a Christmas jumper with their usual academy trousers or skirt and make a £1.00 contribution in support of Save the Children.  The senior leadership team wil

    Well done to all the children in Pandas, frogs and butterflies who took part in the nativity on wednesday 14th December they did an amazing job and we are very proud of them all. Thank you to all parents/ carers who came to watch.

  • Silver Medals in Athletics

    14th December 2017 - Whetley Academy

    The Year 3/4 Whetley Athletics team came 2nd, winning Silver Medals in their recent tournament which involved 16 schools.  Congratulations to you all, that is a fabulous achievement.

    Congratulations to all the year 6 pupils who recently took part in a local Athletics competition. The pupils were brilliant athletes and were a real credit to the school and their families.  Well done everyone.

    13th December 2017 - East Garforth Primary Academy

    East Garforth Primary Academy is a 'Good' school.

    In June 2017 Ofsted commented that:

    'Pupils achieve well as a result of good teaching'.

    'Pupils display good attitudes, focus on their work and behave well'.

  • Christmas Dinner, 14th December 2017

    13th December 2017 - Hull Trinity House Academy

    The Academy will be having Christmas dinner on Thursday 14th December. Your son/charge has already booked his dinner in advance. There will be no access to other hot dinners tomorrow and no food at break tomorrow. Please remember to send a packed luch with students who are not participating in the Christmas lunch. Year 10 & Year 11 Officers will be allowed out of the Academy as usual and will be informed on the day as to the time they are expected to return for lessons.

  • Trinity All The Way, 15th December 2017

    13th December 2017 - Hull Trinity House Academy

    Trinity All The Way! The annual Hull Trinity House Academy Christmas concert is on the 15th December from 6pm onwards. Featuring Hull Trinity's awesome Steel Band and some of our most musically talented students. Tickets can be purchased on Parent Pay: Adults £4 and Child/Concession £3. See you all there!

  • Year 7 Parents Evening, 14th December 2017

    13th December 2017 - Hull Trinity House Academy

    The Year 7 Parents Evening will take place on Thursday 14th December between 4:30pm and 7:00 pm. All students have been issued an appointment sheet at school and your son/charge should book the appointment slots direct with their subject teachers.
