    Our Special guest today was Raj from Madaan Media, who delivered a highly motivational and inspirational presentation on careers within the Creative Industries.  Through the presentation, we explored the broad range of roles available within the industry and how these numerous positions are vital to making any production a success.  Making a film requires a wide range of skills and professions.  There are far more job roles on offer in the Creative Industries than you might think, with some being much more

  • Design a Scientist - Library Competition

    16th April 2018 - Serlby Park Academy


    To celebrate Primary Science Week we asked our pupils to close their eyes and imagine a scientist at work and also describe what he or she does on a typical day at work.

    We were overwhelmed by the response and our  primary science department had a really difficult task choosing the winners.

    From September 2018 Parent/Carers will be able to receive information vis School Gateway.

  • Rock Challenge 2018!

    Craven, once again, took part in J Rock at the Ice Arena this year. What an amazing day we had! The children represented our academy superbly and achieved the best result in Craven's Rock Challenge history so far. The performance on the night was outstanding! A huge well done to all  performers, back stage crew and all staff and parent helpers that made the day one to remember! We would also like to thank Amanda Baines and Anna Thompson who worked tirelessly on our award-winning set!

  • Easter Service

    9th April 2018 - Rossington All Saints Academy

    During the run up to Easter students at RASA enjoyed our yearly Easter service. This year we had a special twist with the band ‘The Plan’ coming into the academy to deliver the Easter message through the use of music!

    We saw each house erupt with excitement and laughter whilst dancing and singing along to the songs along with having a time to reflect on the Easter message. A big thankyou to the band and all those involved for this fantastic opportunity.

  • Ski Trip

    9th April 2018 - Rossington All Saints Academy

    On Friday 30th March  15 students and 2 staff set off on a ski trip to Santa Caterina in Italy on a joint trip with The Vale Academy. 

    The students who went on the trip were outstanding, their behaviour and attitude throughout the whole trip was superb. The ski instructors and staff from Vale commented on this repeatedly.
