POST 16 A-LEVEL SUCCESS
17th August 2017 - Ash Hill AcademyAsh Hill students are celebrating another fantastic set of A-level results.
This year’s results again saw a 100% pass rate in all A-level subjects, as well as a continued increase in the percentage of top grades achieved. All Year 13 students have secured places in Higher education, apprenticeship schemes or employment.

POST 16 RESULTS DAY
17th August 2017 - Ash Hill AcademyThis morning we have welcomed our Post 16 students to collect their GCE (A-level) results! Staff were on hand to congratulate, and our Careers Advisor Helen Green was available for advice, guidance and support regarding future opportunities. Some students had questions regarding the new grading structure and the way that their results are presented, so they were offered meetings with staff to advise on the changes.

Record A-level results
17th August 2017 - The Vale AcademyStudents and staff have celebrated The Vale Academy’s best ever A-level results.
They recorded a pass rate of 99% across academic and vocational courses with 37% of grades either A or A*.
All who applied gained entry into their first choice university.
There was an overall average progress of +0.22 for academic and +0.90 for vocational subjects.

A Level Success
17th August 2017 - Garforth AcademyGarforth Academy, a member of the Delta Academies Trust, have achieved an outstanding set of Key Stage 5 results with an academic average points score of 33.56 and an Applied General average points score of 43.54. This is a record set of results for the Academy.
All students did incredibly well and were delighted with their results which they had worked hard to achieve. Whilst it is difficult to distinguish who stands out amongst such a terrific set of results, of particular note are the following students

De Warenne celebrates Year 13 results
17th August 2017 - De Warenne AcademyStudents and staff at De Warenne Academy are celebrating a great set of results.
38% of the A Level results were graded at A*-B and 23.8% of grades were A and A*.
100% of candidates passed all of their A Levels, again beating the national average of 97.9%.
Megan Jones has performed magnificently all year and her hard work has been rewarded with an A* in Economics, an A in Maths and a B grade in English Language – as well as a bursary prize from the Mexborough and District branch of the Lions Association, which

UNIFORM SHOP & SWAP 1
15th August 2017 - Ash Hill AcademySPT Uniforms, our new uniform supplier, will be on site at the academy on Monday 21st August 2017 for the first of their 'Shop & Swap' events. Parents and carers will be able to handle the new uniform for the first time, allowing their children to try it on for sizings, as well as swap/exchange any previously purchased items of new uniform, should they not fit already.
The event will take place between 10:00am and 1:00pm.

We’re making communication easier & faster
10th August 2017 - De Warenne AcademyWe’ve recently introduced a new service - School Gateway. This means that we can share information such as lesson timetables, achievements and assessment results with parents more quickly via email, text, online and smartphone app.
You will also be able to make payments via credit and debit card, view lunch balances and give online consent for activities such as school trips.

Uniform changes from September 2017
25th July 2017 - John Whitgift AcademyAs you have already been made aware, A Delta Academies trust-wide uniform is to be introduced into all secondary academies from September 2017. Uniform Direct no longer supply our uniform.
Points to note regarding students in Years 8 – 11 from September 2017:
- The current JWA tie will be replaced with a Trust-wide tie: this will be provided to all students in the first instance, free of charge and will be issued to all students on the first day back on Tuesday 5th September. Replacement ties must be purchase

Goodbye to Mrs Keaney
21st July 2017 - Hull Trinity House AcademyToday we say goodbye to our Principal, Mrs Karen Keaney, who after five years as head of the Academy, is leaving to take up a position with the local authority. Mrs Keaney, who has been with the school for 24 years in total, created a whole new chapter in the long running history of Hull Trinity House School when she was appointed as the first ever female head teacher in 2012. Her five years at the helm significantly included the school's move from its historic Prince's Dock Street site to a new home in t

Happy Retirement Mrs Hopkin
21st July 2017 - Wybers Wood AcademyOur fabulous Mrs Hopkin is retiring today. She has been associated with the school for 30 years through her own children, the board of governors and then as an employee. Mrs Hopkin has also run the School Council for many years. We will miss her but wish her well and lots of relaxation in retirement.

We also celebrated the contribution our year 2 children have made to the academy over the past years and wished them well for their move to their junior schools. All the year 2 children were presented with a Grange Lane leavers bear.
