Well done to all of the children, staff and parents for supporting us with the race for life.  We have raised a fantastic amount of money, the grand total to date is £1067.50!!

  • AMAZING APRIL COMPETITION

    26th April 2017 - Ash Hill Academy

    This month is ‘Amazing April’, our latest attendance competition! For 100% attendance, students can earn themselves a seat at one of four movie nights – to be held on 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th May 2017. The films have yet to be decided, and students are being asked to pass their suggestions to Form Tutors, who will in turn pass them on to Learning Managers. Students who achieve 100% will be able to decide which film they would like to stay and watch.

    Sweets and drinks will also be on sale during the movie night

  • Macmillan Coffee & Cake Morning

    26th April 2017 - Serlby Park Academy

    We would just like to say a massive thank you to parents, staff and pupils for their kind cake contributions and their very generous donations towards a very worthy charity. In total we raised £100 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

    26th April 2017 - Manor Croft Academy

    May will see the return of our Attendance Awareness Month. At Manor Croft Academy, we are striving for all our students to achieve their potential and this all starts with attending school every day.  Form groups will compete against each other to achieve the highest attendance in their year group for the week, with the winning form being awarded a form breakfast.  Please could we ask parents/carers to continue to support the academy with this initiative.  Thank you from the Attendance Team.

    23rd April 2017 - Wybers Wood Academy

    Mr Wrigley completed the London Marathon in 4hrs and 50 minutes, running for the Blind Dog Charity who clearly appreciated his efforts.

  • Netball teams compete in Paris

    18th April 2017 - Garforth Academy

    Over the Easter break twenty netballers from the Academy travelled to France to enjoy an International Netball Tournament, staged at Disneyland Paris. The standard of netball played was of the highest order, both of our teams out performed with the U14 finishing 3rd in the Shield Competition and our U15 team (who were playing in the U16 category) finishing a very credible 6th place overall.

  • ROYAL NAVY ACTIVITY DAY

    7th April 2017 - Ash Hill Academy

    Students from Year 10 were treated to an action-pack and informative morning courtesy of the Royal Navy Youth Engagement Team before lunch on Friday 7th April 2017.

    Having being split up into two working groups, the students took turns in the following sessions:

    - Catering aboard – delivered by a qualified Royal Navy Chef, students saw how sailors are kept fit and healthy through the food they are served. A delicious chicken curry was prepared and offered for tasting, whilst students had the opportunity to qu

  • Uniform Update

    7th April 2017 - Melior Community Academy

    Delta Academies Trust have agreed a uniform deal with SPT Uniforms with effect from September 2017.

    Our new Year 7 students will receive a free uniform "bundle" which will include a blazer, clip-on tie, two white shirts, trousers or skirt, rugby games top, PE sports top, PE sports shorts and long "football" socks.
