  • Year 7 Touch Rugby Tournament

    13th January 2017 - Garforth Academy

    Well done to  Year 7 students Megan, Caitlin, Alexia, and Amelia who represented the Academy in their first ever touch rugby league tournament on Thursday after school.

    Having never played before, they finished second!!

    13th January 2017 - Manor Croft Academy

    Our Academy Principal Mr Barnett has this week been delivering assemblies to all year groups on British Values. Fundamental British values, including democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs, are also actively promoted in the Academy through the formal curriculum and through calendared events.

    12th January 2017 - Don Valley Academy

    On Friday 20th January Don Valley Academy will be holding a fundraising day in aid of local charity Firefly.

    There will be numerous events taking place throughout the day including non-uniform day, Don Valley make up challenge, leg waxing & head shaving, auctions, Tombola & stalls and lots more sponsored events.

  • Young Voices

    12th January 2017 - East Garforth Primary Academy

    We had a great night at Young Voices at Sheffield Arena on Wednesday 11th January. The children were a credit to the school and made the teachers so proud of them. What an amazing event it was, awesome singing, incredible dancing and beatboxing! Bring on next year!

  • Badminton Result!

    12th January 2017 - Ingleby Manor School

    A convincing win tonight in the badminton district tournament. We entered 2 teams and ended up playing each other in the final. 

     
    Our 'B' team (Adam Gent, Theo Garton, Abdullah Ahmed, Haris Ali) beating our 'A' team (Harrison Kent, Liam Hawkins, Fin Bowater, Ryan Karunasekera). The winners now go forward to represent Stockton schools at the county event in a couple of weeks. A great achievement made even better considering most opponents were in y9.

  • Careers Fair

    9th January 2017 - Willows Academy

    On Monday 9th January 2017 the Year 5 and 6 children attended a Careers Fair at Macaulay Primary Academy. The children had the opportunity to meet a wide variety of professionals and find out about potential future career paths. They met a paramedic, referee, dog trainer and scuba diver. Along with these they talked to a member of the RNLI, a veterinary nurse and turbine engineer. The children were enthusiastic and asked lots of relevant questions, and really enjoyed the afternoon.
