    Following the success of the ‘Marvellous March’ attendance competition, we will be hosting ‘Amazing April’ all this month. During Amazing April students can earn a prize for good attendance! For attending 100% between 3rd and 28th April 2017, pupils will be able to earn a seat at…MOVIE NIGHT! Good luck to all our students.

    On Thursday 6th April there will be an Easter Bun Sale at Break and Lunchtime outside of the Year 11 office. A delicious selection of baked buns will be available, all for just 50p each!

  • Nursery's Farm Visit

    3rd April 2017 - Weelsby Academy

    Nursery had a wonderful day visiting Hall Farm Park in South Kelsey.  We enjoyed experiencing all the sights, sounds and smells of the Farm.  After a very bumpy tractor ride, we were able to feed the cows some potatoes and even bottle fed  the new spring lambs.  We had a great time exploring both the indoor and outdoor play areas.  We searched for clues along the nature trail and found lots of animals along the way.  Finally, we were able to walk the goats and feed them some grass before the very sleepy bus

  • Easter Activities - SEND

    3rd April 2017 - Hatfield Woodhouse Primary School

    Please see the attached leaflets which provide information on Easter activities which are available for children with special needs for disabilities.

    There are some really exciting activities including circus skills, arts and pottery.

    The day also gives parents and children an opportunity to meet new people.

    3rd April 2017 - De Warenne Academy

    "You are cordially invited to join us to catch up, chat and collect your exam certificates at De Warenne Academy". This was the invitation sent to all Year 11 and Year 13 students who left us in 2016. The event was held in the Sixth Form room and an afternoon tea was be served. It was a good opportunity for Alumni to catch-up with their friends and teachers, and discuss the exciting things they are up to at the moment.  

  • Easter Eggstravaganza in the Library

    3rd April 2017 - Serlby Park Academy

    Here are just a few of the fabulous decorated eggs which arrived in our library today. The last day to enter the competition is Tuesday 4th April and winners will be announced on Friday.

    Please can all eggs be collected before school closes for Easter on Friday afternoon.

    Year 11 students will be offering raffle tickets for sale during break and lunchtime, for the Easter Raffle Draw! Tickets are priced at 20p each or £1 for a strip, with a selection of fantastic prizes on offer, including a 7” Digital photo frame and a variety of Easter eggs for runners up.   • Y7 Jazzy Jotters!

    31st March 2017 - Rossington All Saints Academy

    As part of the academy's ongoing Careers, Education, Information and Guidance (CEIAG) programme Y7 students have been working in small enterprise groups to create Jazzy Jotters.  Students were given a small budget and had to work as a team to plan, design and produce the jotters to the required specification whilst also ensuring that they quality assured all their products.  There were some fantastic designs and some exceptional team work skills demonstrated.

  • Easter Holidays

    The Easter holidays are almost upon us. Just a quick reminder that the children break up on Friday 7th April at 2.30pm and return on Tue 25th April @ 8.40am.   • Football Match

    On Friday the 31st of March Weelsby & Macaulay Academy had a football game against each other. There were 4 teams - 2 for Macaulay and 2 for Weelsby - with 7 players each. Macaulay brought some really good players, but we enjoyed playing against them. The best part was when Jack scored a volley into the top corner. Everybody had a good time and the matches were played in a fair and sporting spirit.

  • ROYAL NAVY ACTIVITY DAY

    If you are in Years 10, 12 or 13 and interested in a career with The Royal Navy, you are in luck! On Friday 7th April 2017 the Royal Navy are coming to Ash Hill for an action-packed Activity Day.

     

    Sessions will include:

    - PT (Physical Training) > you will be pushed to your peak physical fitness levels, to see if you could achieve the necessary standard for service

    - Field Catering > a demonstration of how the Royal Navy keeps its sailors in fighting-fit condition, even at the dinner table

  • PARENTS' EVENING

    30th March 2017 - Ash Hill Academy

    The academy will be holding an All Years Parents’ Evening on Tuesday 4th April 2017, starting at 3.00pm. This will offer both students and their families a chance to check on progress made so far this term, as well as discuss next steps for the coming term. Year 11 students in particular will benefit from attending this evening, as they can discuss revision strategies and exam practice with their subject teachers.

  • Silk Paintings

    30th March 2017 - Willow Green Academy

    Recently, our Year 6 children spent the day working with 'Faceless Arts', who provide art workshops in schools. The children had a fantastic time and made some magnificent silk paintings of Ferrybridge Power Station. We are very proud to say that copies of these paintings have now been installed in the underpass in Ferrybridge. They look brilliant.
