Well done to all of the children, staff and parents for supporting us with the race for life.  We have raised a fantastic amount of money, the grand total to date is £1067.50!!

  • De Warenne students wow the audiences

    19th May 2017 - De Warenne Academy

    A number of De Warenne Academy students took part in a local production of Les Miserables. The event which took place at Doncaster Little Theatre featured Emily Straw Y11 as Cosette, Emily Wileman Y8 who played various parts and our very own Brogan Jones Y11 on the bass guitar. These students are all part of the Carr-nival Academy of Theatre Skills and put the show together in a limited time frame. Well done to our students it was a great show that received a standing ovation every night.

  • Year 10 BTEC Music Concert

    18th May 2017 - Manor Croft Academy

    On Thursday 18th May the Year 10 BTEC Music group performed their Summer Showcase Extravaganza in front of parents, family and students of Manor Croft.  The show was part of their BTEC Music First Award assessment and the whole show was produced, created and organised by the students for their 'Managing a Music Product' core unit.  Mr Ryder was very proud of all the students involved and the night was an amazing success. Well done to all involved!

  • SCHOOL NURSE DROP-INS

    The School Nursing Team are available for confidential chats with students, regarding any medical concerns or issues, on specified days throughout the year.

    The School Nursing Team will be available at Ash Hill Academy at lunchtimes on the following days:

    Monday 12th June

    Monday 26th June

    Monday 10th July

    In addition to those sessions, they will also be available for drop-in sessions at the Heathfield Centre next to the Academy, between 2.30pm and 3.30pm on the following days:

    Students are now entering the main exam period for this summer. The attached file details the dates and times of all exams. Not all students will be sitting all the exams listed, and individuals should look at the dates and times of the exams that they are individually entered for.

    All of  KS2 enjoyed their visit to the museum where they had he opportunity to go underground and learn about the history of coal mining

  • Reading Challenge Awards

    We are delighted to celebrate the success of Holly and Caitlin in Year 9 and Kirstie in Year 8 who have all completed the Serlby Park Academy Reading Challenge.

    Holly and Caitlin have achieved our prestigious 'Platinum Award' and Kirstie has achieved 'Gold Award'.

    On Sunday Hull's Holy Trinity Church was given the status of Minster. Our White Squad was at Hull Marina to welcome the Archbishop Sentamu before the ceremony.

  • French Exchange 2017

    It was with great anticipation that we set off for our annual exchange visit to the South of France.  We were met by our exchange partners in Toulouse in the South of France and started the adventure.  This year’s activities included a visit to the beautiful towns of Albi, Toulouse and the medieval town of Carcassonne.  We had gorgeous sunshine for our hike in the Pyrenees which saw us have our picnic in the stunning setting of Lac d’Oô.  Pupils also attended a morning of school and joined in with some less
