Well done to all of the children, staff and parents for supporting us with the race for life.  We have raised a fantastic amount of money, the grand total to date is £1067.50!!

    Our Sports Day held in September was a great sucess. All the children did really well and we appreciate the time that parents took to come and support their children!

  • Y9 Clipstone Camp

    3rd October 2014 - Queen Elizabeth's Academy

    On Wednesday 1st October around 30 year 9 students visited Sherwood Pines. This term as part of their History lessons they are exploring World War 1.  This work is contributing to a memorial event which is planned to take place at the Academy on Friday 14th November.

    Clipstone Camp was a former training camp in 1914 and had many trench areas for the soldiers to be trained in and as part of the 100 years since the beginning of the 1st World War there has been a recreation of the trench area for the general pu

    Our Year 6 teacher Mrs Robinson is now running a Gardening Club for Year 6 pupils. Here are some photographs of them planting bulbs/seeds, which they will then continue to look after.

    29th September 2014 - Craven Primary Academy

    Thank you to everyone who came along or sent in donations for our coffee and cake morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, the morning was a huge success and in total we managed to raise £62.92 for this very worthy cause.

    We were delighted that Danii Taylor and Luke Hardy were honoured with an award from the Doncaster Freemen this month in acknowledgement of their enthusiasm, energy and commitment to the life of the academy. The ceremony was held at the Mansion House where Danii and Luke were presented with their awards by the Civic Mayor Councillor Pat Haith.

    Danii was always relentlessly cheerful and hard-working and was elected to the position of Deputy Head Girl and chair of the Academy Council Fundraising Committee. She

    We’re pleased to announce that we will shortly be accepting payments online for items such as dinner money, school trips and uniform.  Using a secure website called ParentPay you will be able to pay online using your credit or debit card.  ParentPay will be our preferred method of making payments to school.

  • Macmillan Coffee Morning

    26th September 2014 - Queen Elizabeth's Academy

    On Friday 26th September the Academy opened its doors to the Mansfield Community to hold our annual Macmillan Coffee morning.  Students, parents and staff had all been very busy baking in aid of this good cause.  Mrs Bland hosted a “Bake off” competition staff were invited to bake either a Victorian Sponge or Bakewell Tart strict recipes had to be followed;

    • Congratulations to 1st Prize winner Mrs Graham , 2nd Prize Miss Sellars and the runners up Mrs Attlesey and Mrs Windle for all their hard work.

  • MacMillan Coffee Morning

    22nd September 2014 - Wainwright Primary Academy

    We are holding a MacMillan Coffee Morning on Friday 26th September from 9.00 am - 10.15 pm in the Upper School Hall. Parents will be able to buy a cup of tea or coffee and we will be selling cakes and buns. All money raised will go to MacMillan Cancer Support.

     

    Come along, have a chat, a drink and a cake - all while raising money for this worthwhile charity.

  • C6 Careers: Record number of Uni applications

    20th September 2014 - The Doncaster Collegiate Sixth Form

    This year the number of students applying to go to University from accross C6 has increased with other Students going on to gain Apprenticeships and employment.

    Rossington All Saints & Ash Hill Acadmey's Sixth Form has almost doubled.

    Serlby Park and De Warenne ahve also seen a significant increase with Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities becoming popular.

    Don Valley Academy Sixth Form have successfully reached their highest ever percentage of students applying for University – with 89% applying for Septem
