  • Primary Bake Off 2018

    12th February 2018 - The Vale Academy

     

    Bake Off stars of the future rose to the occasion in a primary schools’ competition at The Vale Academy.

    They had taken part in the popular, annual Vale Bake Off in the autumn term but, this year, the winners in each category were invited back to battle it out for top spot in a grand final.

    The competition took place in the food technology room using recipes provided by subject teacher Mrs Smith.

    Years three and four baked scones and five and six a Victoria sandwich cakes.

  • Centenary Plaque Ceremony

    9th February 2018 - Hull Trinity House Academy

    As part of the City of Culture year celebrations, the 100th Lord Mayor of Hull City Council, Councillor Mary Glew, is marking unsung heroes of all Hull people who made a difference nationally and internationally, by erecting 100 plaques around the City in recognition of their commitment to Hull.  Hull Trinity House Academy was proud to host the unveiling of the 67th plaque to commemorate Luxe Foxe (1585-1635) on Thursday 8th February 2018.

  • Chinese New Year Festival Day

    The children enjoyed a whole Academy focus day based on a wealth of activities related to The Chinese New Year. The Nursery children performed the Dragon Dance all around the Academy and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

  • Y11 Revision Skills Evening

    9th February 2018 - Don Valley Academy

    Y11 students and parents are invited to the revsion skills evening on Tuesday 27th February, 3pm - 5pm. Subject staff will be on hand to offer advice and revison tips for their subjects. Information will be available for college and post 16 options. All students who attend will also receive a free pack worth £20 full of revision essentials.

    Congratulations to all the children who were awarded Star Achievers Certificates and badges in our special assemblies this week. The awards were given for achievement in Maths, Reading, Oracy, Sport, Attendance, Writing, and being a fantastic Role Model.
