    18th May 2018 - Kingston Park Academy

    Well done to all Year 6 pupils for their hard work and resilient attitude during the SAT’s week.  A big thank you to all the staff and parents support. It was clear all the pupils were well prepared and did their very best. We couldn't ask for more.



  • Reading Challenge Gold Award

    Well done to Lilia in Year 5, who has just completed the Serlby Park Reading Challenge by reading all twenty books in this year's challenge.

  • The Academy is Open

    We are pleased to inform you that the Academy will be FULLY OPEN tomorrow (Friday 18th). We look forward to seeing EVERY year group back in the Academy.

  • Lower KS2 football

    16th May 2018 - Green Lane Primary Academy

    Monday afternoon saw Green Lane take two teams to compete in the LKS2 Garforth Schools Tournament under glorious blue sky. The boys played with tremendous determination and resilience (especially when defending) and really grew in confidence as the tournament progressed. The tournament operated in a league format - there were two leagues. The two teams who finished top  of the leagues would then play against each other in a final. 


    Our alumni network is quickly growing now, as former students

    from the current academy and past schools look to reconnect, both with the academy and old friends. Being part of the Alumni Network allows members to keep in touch with each other, keep up to date with activities at the academy, and even become guest speakers at

  • Vicky Beer (RSC) Visits Manor Croft

    15th May 2018 - Manor Croft Academy

    We were delighted to host Vicky Beer yesterday at Manor Croft Academy.  Vicky is the Regional Schools Commissioner for our area and wanted to see how Delta systems can impact on real change and outcomes for young people.  She spent the afternoon in the Academy and conducted a tour of lessons and observed our Year 11's in preparaton for their exams, she later tweeted 'fantastic examples of high expectations and trust commitment to improving outcomes' #inspiring.

    Please come and support our year 5/6 boys football team in the 7 a-side football finals against either Neasden or Francis Askew on Friday 18th May at St Mary's College, Kick off 5:15pm.

  • JWA at Lincoln University

    15th May 2018 - John Whitgift Academy

    On 9th May 2018 year 7s attended a Powering Transformations event at Lincoln University.

    The students were able to tour around the university as well as produce an idea for an app to help people in their local community to solve a social issue.  The students were split into 9 groups and all were tasked with coming up with ideas for their app, researching , pricing and how it will help people and why it would sell.  They then had to put this in a powerpoint presentation and present it to the rest of the grou

  • Academy open to EYFS, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3

    15th May 2018 - England Lane Academy

    We are pleased to let you know that EYFS, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 will be open from tomorrow (Wednesday 16th).

    Please note that the academy is STILL CLOSED to Year 4 and Year 5.

    Year 6 will continue to attend at Education House.

    Again, thank you for your continued support as we endeavour to open the academy as soon as possible.

  • 'Being British' in KS3

    14th May 2018 - St Wilfrid's Academy

    KS3 artists have been using Grayson Perry as their inspiration, to create their own pots and vases, decorated with images representing 'Being British', this half term's theme.

  • Safeguarding Alert

    Nottinghamshire Schools regularly share safeguarding information with each other, and we have been informed today that there have been reports of a male acting suspiciously near school buildings in the Worksop area.


    The description is of a white male, approx 60 years of age with short grey hair wearing a white shirt and brown trousers and walked with a slight limp.

  • Academy Closure

    14th May 2018 - England Lane Academy

    We regret to inform you that the whole academy will be closed again tomorrow (Tuesday 15th). This is as a result of continuing repairs and the cleaning up of the academy following vandalism at the weekend. As you can imagine there is a lot of glass to clear up and ensuring that environment is safe is our utmost priority . As always we appreciate all your support and understanding. Futher updates will come tomorrow.

    Year 6 will continue to attend and work at Head office.

    We have summarised the dates of exams that our students are sitting in May and June 2018.  Not all students will sit all exams, so please consult your child's individual timetable for their specific details.


    13th May 2018 - England Lane Academy

    Please note : All Y6 MUST meet at the main entrance of England Lane at 8:45am Monday 14th May where they will then walk over to Delta's Head Office. They will spend the day there and complete their statutory tests there.


    Due to extensive criminal damage last night between the hours of 5pm and 7pm, we have no option than to close the academy for all children except Y6 (Going to Head Office) on Monday 14th May. This decision has not been taken lightly, but the safety of our pupils and staff are our first prio
