Race for life

Well done to all of the children, staff and parents for supporting us with the race for life.  We have raised a fantastic amount of money, the grand total to date is £1067.50!!

  • Construction Enterprise Day

    21st May 2018 - Estcourt Primary Academy

    On Friday 18th May, some children from years 4/5 went with Mrs Leslie and Mrs Garrard to Endeavour Skills & Learning Centre for a Construction Enterprise Day organised by Keepmoat Homes. They learnt all about the different careers within the construction industry, built a giant tetrahedron and had a go at building their very own wall. They had a fantastic day meeting other children from different schools. Some of the skills they used included Team work,problem solving, communication,planning and initiative.

  • Half Term Exam Intervention Sessions

    20th May 2018 - Ash Hill Academy

    All students are invited to attend our exam preparation sessions which will take place over the half term holiday.  These will be a great way for students to get ready for their forthcoming exams.

    Students should ensure that they arrive in time for the beginning of each session and should enter school through the side entrance.

    A massive thank you to Mrs Brownsword and all the kitchen for organising an amazing afternoon tea lunch for the Royal Wedding. It was delicious!

    Pupil & Staff enjoyed a presentation by School Council, explaining some important facts leading up to the Wedding of His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales and Ms Meghan Markle on 19th May 2018.

  • Red, White & Blue Day

    18th May 2018 - Pheasant Bank Academy

    We celebrated the Royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on Friday.  We had the bunting up and we all wore clothes of red, white and blue.  At lunchtime the whole school went onto the field and we had a whole school picnic.  We played traditional games such as croquet and large chess.  We even had an ice-cream van which proved so popular it had to make an extra visit today so that Year 6 didn't miss out.









  • SATs are over

    Well done to all Year 6 pupils for their hard work and resilient attitude during the SAT’s week.  A big thank you to all the staff and parents support. It was clear all the pupils were well prepared and did their very best. We couldn't ask for more.



  • Reading Challenge Gold Award

    Well done to Lilia in Year 5, who has just completed the Serlby Park Reading Challenge by reading all twenty books in this year's challenge.

  • Lower KS2 football

    16th May 2018 - Green Lane Primary Academy

    Monday afternoon saw Green Lane take two teams to compete in the LKS2 Garforth Schools Tournament under glorious blue sky. The boys played with tremendous determination and resilience (especially when defending) and really grew in confidence as the tournament progressed. The tournament operated in a league format - there were two leagues. The two teams who finished top  of the leagues would then play against each other in a final. 


    Our alumni network is quickly growing now, as former students

    from the current academy and past schools look to reconnect, both with the academy and old friends. Being part of the Alumni Network allows members to keep in touch with each other, keep up to date with activities at the academy, and even become guest speakers at

  • Vicky Beer (RSC) Visits Manor Croft

    15th May 2018 - Manor Croft Academy

    We were delighted to host Vicky Beer yesterday at Manor Croft Academy.  Vicky is the Regional Schools Commissioner for our area and wanted to see how Delta systems can impact on real change and outcomes for young people.  She spent the afternoon in the Academy and conducted a tour of lessons and observed our Year 11's in preparaton for their exams, she later tweeted 'fantastic examples of high expectations and trust commitment to improving outcomes' #inspiring.

  • Football Finals

    15th May 2018 - Estcourt Primary Academy

    Please come and support our year 5/6 boys football team in the 7 a-side football finals against either Neasden or Francis Askew on Friday 18th May at St Mary's College, Kick off 5:15pm.
