  • KS2 RAF Coningsby Trip

    6th November 2017 - Willows Academy

    All of KS2 went on a fascinating visit to Coningsby RAF Base to learn all about the variety of aircraft used in World War 2 and compare it to modern day aircraft. In the hanger, we were amazed at all of the planes including: Spitfire, Lancaster Bomber, Hurricane and Dakota. We learnt so many interesting facts and stories about real life experiences in WW2.     The November Attendance Competition will run from Monday 6th November to Thursday 30th November 2017, with students reminded that they have to attend 100% of the time to achieve the prizes on offer.

    This month, those prizes include an extremely exciting experience for students in Years 9, 10 and 11 - Driving lessons!   • Hull Junior Open Art Exhibition

    6th November 2017 - Serlby Park Academy

    The Art department has submitted an amazing selection of work for the 'Hull Junior Open Exhibition'.

    The competition has various prizes and selected works are displayed at Hull Maritime Museum between Saturday 25 November 2017 and Sunday 21 January 2018.

     Fingers crossed for our talented and brave artists who have put work forward to be considered for the exhibition.

    The DC6 Sixth Form Open Evenings will be taking place across each campus during October and November 2017.  We warmly welcome all Year 10 and 11 students to come see what makes our Sixth Form so special. And to speak to our staff about the 50+ courses we have available.

  • DC6 Careers: Progression Module Graduation

    1st November 2017 - The Doncaster Collegiate Sixth Form

    DC6 Students will be celebrating their achivement of the Progression Module at a garduation ceremony in the Great Hall at Leeds Beckett University.

    Doncaster students joined other Schools from accross Yorkshire in marking the occasion.

    The Progression Module is a fantatsic way of supporting our students with their next step career planning and we have enjoyed alomost 100% pass rate.

    This year De Warenne students were particularly praised for their attainment and commitment to this enrichment activity.


  • Year 5 visit to St John's Church Trail

    Our Year 5 children had a fantastic time last week at the Carlton Church trail. We received some lovely       comments from the organisers of the event who said the children behaved beautifully and were a real credit to Kingston Park  Academy.
