  • EASTER HOLIDAY

    6th April 2017 - Ash Hill Academy

    The academy will close for the Easter holidays at 3.30pm on Friday 7th April 2017, and reopen at 8.00am on Monday 24th April 2017. We wish our students and their families a restful break, and look forward to their return for the start of the summer term.

  • Y11 Booster Sessions over Easter

    There are a lot of booster sessions running during Easter Holiday for Year 11 in preparation for their GCSE. Please find below all the sessions running. Each pupil also got a personalised timetable with all the sessions available to them.

  • Google Expeditions

    6th April 2017 - Pheasant Bank Academy

    Google expeditions came to Pheasant Bank Academy this week.  The children took field trips and explored through collections of 360 degree and 3D images all without leaving school.

  • UKRoC Youth Rocketry Challenge Regional Final

    6th April 2017 - De Lacy Academy

    Andrew Rhodes, Lewis Walker, Jake Hutchinson and Luke Lloyd took part in the UK regional qualifying flights at Elvington Air Base.

    Again a great improvement on last year with the team nominally taking 2nd place, from a field of 9, but they were left to curse their luck as they potentially could have taken first place but for the fact they could only manage one flight where their rocket's altitude could be measured, at a heady 690 feet (particularly close to the target height of 775 feet given the gusting win

  • Doncaster Book Awards

    6th April 2017 - Pheasant Bank Academy

    Some of the Year 6 children visited The Dome on Tuesday 4 April to see the Doncaster Book Awards for 2017.

     

     

     

     

     

  • Year 11 Rewards Trip

    6th April 2017 - Manor Croft Academy

    Year 11 were treated to a rewards trip at Xscape Yorkshire.  The reward was for all the hard work and dedication they have shown over the last year and especially in the final run up to their exams.  It was a great day out and the students loved it!  Mr Hewitt said, "The students have been great all day, they have been able to pick the activity they wanted to do and have all had lunch with their friends."

    The activities included laser quest, gravity, ten pin bowling, 4D gold and some students even attempted

    Parent's/Carer's and pupils enjoyed a night of Easter Bingo at Wybers Wood.  Well done to all the lucky winners.

  • End of Term Arrangements

    5th April 2017 - Melior Community Academy

    The academy will close for the Easter holidays on Friday, 7th April 2017 at 2.30pm and re-open for the Summer Term on Monday, 24th April at 8.20am. Please note that the last day of term is NOT a non-uniform day and students should attend wearing their school uniform.

    5th April 2017 - Grange Lane Infant Academy A huge thanks to all our Nursery parents that attended our Easter themed stay and make, it was a great success. The children loved showing their parents how to cut and stick to create fantastic Easter baskets.

  • FRIDAY ENRICHMENT BUS

    4th April 2017 - Ash Hill Academy

    We are making students and their families aware that the Enrichment Bus service will be finishing on Thursday 6th April 2017, and will resume on Monday 25th April 2017. As such any students that are intending to stay for Enrichment sessions on Friday 7th April 2017 will need to make alternative arrangements for their journeys home.

  • KEYBOARD CLUB

    4th April 2017 - Ash Hill Academy

    Mrs McNulty would like to make students aware that the Keyboard Club enrichment sessions have now come to an end, and from Monday 5th June 2017 will be replaced with Samba Band sessions. Any students wishing to take part in the Samba Band can turn up to Performing Arts on Mondays from 5th June 2017 at 2.30pm for some musical magic.

  • GIRLS ROUNDERS

    4th April 2017 - Ash Hill Academy

    As of Thursday 6th April 2017, the Girls Football enrichment sessions will be changing to Girls Rounders. Miss Sims requests that any girls from across all year groups that are interested please either attend the first session, on Thursday 6th April, or otherwise get a message to her expressing their interest in joining their year team. This is so that Miss Sims can know the exact numbers of teams to enter for competitions

  • NYC Diner Years 3/4

    4th April 2017 - Weelsby Academy
    These are the photos from the NYC Diner visit that years 3/4 went on.
     
    The topic is 'Road Trip USA' and the children drove past Humberside Airport (the beginning of the topic was Teacher in Role as a pilot) and then went on to experience American style food at a New York City diner in Doncaster.
    We had a lovely day, and learnt a lot of new information.
