  • DONCASTER ATHLETICS TRIALS

    6th June 2017 - Ash Hill Academy

    Following the athletics trials that were held before half term, the students below have been selected to represent Doncaster in the South Yorkshire Athletics Championships on Saturday, 10th June at the Keepmoat.

    Tyler White year 10 100m & 200m

    Jake Bellwood year 9 200m & 400m

    All of our students performed extremely well and were a credit to the academy.

    S-band: Periods 1 and 2

    R-band: Periods 4 and 5

  • Beamish Year 4/5

    6th June 2017 - Willows Academy

    Despite the appalling weather, KS2 had a fabulous time at Beamish. Year 6 went down the mine to find out what life was life working in those dark, damp and dangerous conditions. Year 4/5 had hands on experience of being a working child in Victorian times and Year 3/4 found out, that the Victorian classroom is not an easy place to be for a small child! The children were an absolute credit to the school and even though they were wet and cold, they smiled throughout the day!

  • School of Rock comes to De Warenne Academy

    5th June 2017 - De Warenne Academy

    This July we are performing our biggest musical spectacular at De Warenne Academy, ‘The School of Rock’. This is a rare opportunity for a school to perform a show whilst it is still playing in London and on Broadway, and is thanks to an innovative package form Andrew Lloyd Webber. Rehearsals are now well under way for our two night run at the De Warenne Academy auditorium. Students have been working hard twice a week since January, learning a 100 page script, songs and dance routines. Students have said “Th

  • New year 7 uniform event this week

    5th June 2017 - De Lacy Academy

    Don't forget the uniform event this Thursday at De Lacy for all our new year 7 students starting with us in September. The Main Hall will be open from 3pm to 6pm to show off the brand new Delta uniform Year 7 will wear from September.

    Students will have the chance to try on uniform for sizes and place orders.

    There will also be pop up shops during the school holidays for any of our students to buy new uniform:

  • The General Election Comes to Serlby Park

    All this week our primary pupils will have a chance to cast their vote in the upcoming General Election when they visit our library, which has been turned into a mock 'Polling Station' for this very special event on June 8th.

    Pupils will learn all about the UK's democratic voting process, the political parties and their manifestos before casting their own vote in a polling booth and placing them in a ballot box.
