Well done to all of the children, staff and parents for supporting us with the race for life.  We have raised a fantastic amount of money, the grand total to date is £1067.50!!

    8th January 2016 - Weelsby Academy

    Reading is a life time skill that allows us to explore other places, experience adventures and understand characters motives.  It allows us to stay informed of world affairs and gain knowledge and inforamtion about the world around us.

    To help promote this love of reading we offer weekly incentives.  Our aim is to complete at least 4 reads a week.  These weekly rewards differ in each class some examples are: extra play, hot chocolate, extra IPad time, Lego building.

  • KC Simnet Challenge

    6th January 2016 - Craven Primary Academy

    On Wednesday the Simnet Challenge team from KC arrived in the academy to work with Year's 4 & 5. They bring to life how the internet works with this exciting hands on activity.Both classes enjoyed the experience and now have a sound knowledge of how this important communication link works.

    From Monday 11th January Mr Cave will be running after school sports clubs on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday.  Miss Robinson will be running a netball club on Mondays.

  • Charity Christmas Card Campaign

    Don't throw your cards away!

     We want to recycle them!

     All money raised will be donated to the School Partnership Trust Foundation Fund.

    Recycling bins are now in the School's Reception area.

  • New Martial Arts Club

    5th January 2016 - Grange Lane Infant Academy

    Our new martial arts club kicked off this week!

    The demand has been so high we have needed to offer the club twice per week. Tuesday sesson is now full but we do have a few places available on Monday. If you would like your child to join, the cost is £1 per week paid in half termly amounts. This half term only cost £5.

    5th January 2016 - Wybers Wood Academy

    Pupils in class 6F welcomed 'SNAKEY' as a new arrival to their class today.  He is a very friendly corn snake who is coming to stay for a while.  Pupils will learn all about him over the coming weeks.

  • Non-uniform day raises £602

    4th January 2016 - De Warenne Academy

    Chelsea Rose Cartwright was a student at De Warenne Academy from 2006 to 2014. Chelsea suffered from leukaemia but fought it bravely.  After beating it once the disease returned and Chelsea tragically passed away at the age of just 20 on 15 October 2015.

    Students wished to remember Chelsea and on Friday 18 December 2015 the academy held a non-uniform day with a focus on Chelsea's favourite colour, purple.  The response from students and staff was fantastic and £893 was raised on that day. The money will be g

    31st December 2015 - The Vale Academy

    December Sports Results were as follows:

    • U12 Football Team Lost in the quarter final 1-0 to Frederick Gough School in the Scunthorpe and District 5 aside tournament at St Lawrence Academy
    • Both KS3 badminton A and B teams are through to the finals night after finishing joint first!
    • KS3 Boys badminton C team finished 6th place overall!
    • Two teams competed in the U12 5-a-side football competition with the A team finishing runners up to Frederick Gough.
    • The U13 mini-hockey team won the District Mini-Hockey Competitio
