Year 2 'Parents Open Morning & Sam’s Safari’

23rd May 2013

Dear Parents,

Our chosen topic for this term is ‘Mini-beasts’. As part of our ‘Parents Open Morning’ Year 2 have invited ‘Sam’s Safari’ to showcase a variety of mini-beasts and their predators. It is a very interactive and hands on approach for children to further develop their investigation skills. Parents will be able to be part of their child’s learning and hopefully this will provide you with an insight into the creative curriculum adapted by the school and the strategies that we incorporate into our teaching and learning to help children experience a more diverse and interactive approach towards learning.

A key aspect of Hatfield Woodhouse Primary is that ‘Every Child Matters’ and we strive to provide our children with the best opportunities in all areas of the curriculum.

We are looking forward to an exciting day, sharing our learning with Parents and most of all finding out more about mini-beasts, and their predators.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday 23rd May 2013(09:15 am).

Thank you once again for your continued support.

Regards,
