Mcconachie

My name is Miss Winks and I am currently the year 5 teacher and leader of English in school, as well as looking after NQTs and trainee teachers. I have been teaching for six years now and have spent the majority of this time teaching in Year Six. My specialist subject is English. At school I love teaching English, Science and Art. Outside of school, I enjoy travelling, going to the gym, reading and spending time with friends and family!

I have been working at Hatfield Woodhouse for 11 years and as the school's HLTA for the last 3 years. In the mornings, I support Miss Winks in Year 5 and in the afternoons, I support with PPA throughout the whole school. I enjoy teaching Science and supporting with sport in and out of school. I have recently attended the DCLT swimming training course to support Year 5 with their swimming lessons. Out of school, I enjoy going to the cinema, going to concerts and spending time with my family. I have an 18 year old son Thomas who has recently moved to Liverpool to study at university.
